Denise Schump chosen for Teacher Tuesday honor

It came as a complete surprise for Berthoud resident Denise Schump when she was called to the stage at Lucile Erwin Middle School at a special assembly on Tuesday. She had been nominated for special recognition by Blake Martin, a student in her eighth grade class. Blake had written a letter to the TRI 102.5 radio station, which, in partnership with K99 radio in Windsor, honors a teacher each Tuesday of the school year. Kathy Adams body found, ruled homicide

DATE:            October 25, 201 The Larimer County Coroner has released the identification of the decedent found near Estes Park on October 23, 2010 as that of Kathy Adams, age 57, who was reported missing on October 12, 2010.  The Coroner has ruled her death to be homicide. The Larimer County Sheriff's Office is continuing their investigation into this incident.  At this time no further statement is being issued.
