  Lady Spartans win their fourth game of the season By Dan Karpiel Sports Writer Saturday night the Berthoud High girls basketball team posted a win in their final game of the Spartan Basketball Invite with a 42-28 thumping of Northridge. The victory was the Lady Spartans’ fourth on the season but only their first of the past week’s tournament.   Berthoud tops Thompson Valley 52-48 By Dan Karpiel Sports Writer The Berthoud Spartan boys basketball team won their second consecutive game on Saturday night in their final contest of the Spartan Basketball Invite. Berthoud edged out Thompson Valley 52-48, improving their record on the season to 2-4.
