Small plane crashes near Carter Lake

The Denver Post identifies the downed aircraft as a Cessna 210 Centurion registered to a Lyons, Colorado resident. No names have been released. Marjorie Craig passed away on Dec. 23, 2010 at the age of 76. She was born Marjorie Nadine Yeager, March 25, 1934 in Longmont, Colorado to William Yeager and Katie Burbach-Yeager. She was the youngest of six children. Her father farmed land south east of Berthoud for 17 years, and this is where Marjorie lived while she was growing up. Ruth B. Luce of Longmont, Colo. died December 23, 2010 at the Peaks Care Center in Longmont. She was 86. Ruth was born on September 6, 1924 in Stratford, Connecticut to Hugh S. and Margaret (Spencer) Bailie. After dating all throughout high school, Ruth married William Raymond “Bill” Luce in Elkton, Maryland on February 27, 1943. They celebrated 63 years of marriage before his death in 2006.
