Spartans dominate at Soeby Classic

By Gary Wamsley The Soeby Classic was a showcase for the Berthoud Wrestlers on Saturday. The host team won four duals on their way to the team title. The Spartans bested Mitchell HS (64-15), The Academy (72-6), Widefield HS (55-15) and Greeley Central (45-22). In the 112 pound class, Alex Kingsley ranked at 12 this week won three matches loosing only to 11th ranked Gabe Padilla of the Academy. Carrie Jean Hyde Marr passed away Sunday evening, Jan. 16, 2011. She was born June 18, 1939, to Wayne and Gladys Hyde and was reared on the family ranch in Loup County, Neb. She received a Bachelor of Arts and Education from Kearney State College, Kearney, Neb., and a Master of Education from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colo. She married Max M.
