Obituary: Carrie Jean Hyde Marr

She was born June 18, 1939, to Wayne and Gladys Hyde and was reared on the family ranch in Loup County, Neb.
She received a Bachelor of Arts and Education from Kearney State College, Kearney, Neb., and a Master of Education from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colo.
She married Max M. Marr on June 8, 1963, in Taylor, Neb. She and Max raised their children, Tyler and Jessica, and granddaughter, Carianne in Loveland.
Carrie was active in the community and school activities as well as professional organizations. She was well read and had various interests including traveling, gardening and visiting with family and friends.
Carrie is survived by her husband, Max; son, Tyler (Denise); grandson, Levi; granddaughter, Carianne; mother, Gladys; sister, Annelda (Delbert); nieces, nephews and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne; brother, David; and daughter, Jessica.
Max and Carrie were longtime active members of LifeSpring Covenant Church in Loveland.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011, 743 S. Dotsero Drive, Loveland, Colo.
Memorials can be made to LifeSpring Covenant Church music fund.
