Eagles Frozen By IceMen
LOVELAND, Colo. - The Evansville IceMen made their first ever visit to the Budweiser Events Center and came away with a 3-2 win against the Colorado Eagles. The loss came in Colorado's final home game of the month, as they now head on an extended road trip; 11 of their next 12 games will be on the road. Eagles Soar Into First Place With Win Over Defending
RAPID CITY, S.D. - The Colorado Eagles defeated the Rapid City Rush, 4-1, to move out of a fourth-place tie with the defending champs all the way into a first place tie in the Turner Conference; Colorado's .618 winning percentage is the conference's best. Boys Basketball Falls to Eaton
Spartans come up short late, lose 65-59 By Dan Karpiel Sports Writer Tuesday night in the Berthoud High School gym the Spartan boys basketball team fell to the Eaton Reds 65-59. The loss drops Berthoud to 3-7 on the year and 0-2 in the Patriot League. The Spartans battled all game long, taking a 48-48 tie into the fourth and final period of the game.
