PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Colorado Eagles battled back again and again -- and again -- to earn a 6-4 win against the Arizona Sundogs. The victory, Colorado's third in a row, kept the Eagles in a first place tie in the tight Turner Conference. Spartans fall to Platte Valley 67-54 By Dan Karpiel Sports Writer A 24-point fourth period was not enough for the Berthoud Spartan boys basketball team on Friday night in the Berthoud High gym. The Spartans fell to the Platte Valley Broncos 67-54. The loss drops the Spartans season record to 5-8 overall and 3-3 in the 3A Patriot League.
