Colorado Eagles Come Back for Third Win in a Row
PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Colorado Eagles battled back again and again -- and again -- to earn a 6-4 win against the Arizona Sundogs. The victory, Colorado's third in a row, kept the Eagles in a first place tie in the tight Turner Conference. Glider Crash
January 29, 2011 At approximately 3:30 PM Larimer County Sheriff's Dispatch was notified of a small glider crash near mile marker 284 west of I -25. LCSO Deputies responded and were assisted by the Colorado State Highway Patrol and Wellington Fire also responded as a precaution. According to deputies on the scene, the glider crashed on approach. Eight Spartans Ranked in 3A Top 10 By Dan Karpiel Sports Writer With the state tournament now less than three weeks away, the Berthoud High wrestling team is ranked third in class 3A, behind only Alamosa and Valley. Eight individual Berthoud wrestlers (out of 14 weight classes) are ranked in the top 10. Spartans fall to Platte Valley 67-54 By Dan Karpiel Sports Writer A 24-point fourth period was not enough for the Berthoud Spartan boys basketball team on Friday night in the Berthoud High gym. The Spartans fell to the Platte Valley Broncos 67-54. The loss drops the Spartans season record to 5-8 overall and 3-3 in the 3A Patriot League.
