Eight Spartans Ranked in 3A Top 10

With the state tournament now less than three weeks away, the Berthoud High wrestling team is ranked third in class 3A, behind only Alamosa and Valley. Eight individual Berthoud wrestlers (out of 14 weight classes) are ranked in the top 10. Two Spartan wrestlers, Robbie Workman (135lbs) and Alex Sadlo (140lbs) are the number one ranked 3A wrestlers in their weight classes.

Listed below is the team ranking for Berthoud and names of each Spartan wrestler’s rank in the 3A top 14.

The Spartans have meets on Saturday, January 29 in Gilcrest at the Valley Invitational, Thursday, February 3 in Strasburg and Saturday, February 5 in Eaton. The Regionals take place February 11-12 in La Junta and the state tournament will be held February 17-19 at the Pepsi Center in Denver.
