At approximately 3:30 PM Larimer County Sheriff’s Dispatch was notified of a small glider crash near mile marker 284 west of I -25.  LCSO Deputies responded and were assisted by the Colorado State Highway Patrol and Wellington Fire also responded as a precaution.

According to deputies on the scene, the glider crashed on approach.  The two passengers on board were uninjured.  The glider sustained minor damage.  The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board were notified.
