Lady Spartans Place Sixth in Mountain View League Meet By Dan Karpiel Sports Writer It was on a cool, cloudy and at times rainy Loveland Olde Course on Wednesday afternoon where the Berthoud High girls golf team competed in their second tournament of the season. Weather Continues to Cooperate 10 am Fort Collins, CO –The weather played a large role in helping firefighters yesterday with rain and snow developing over the fire area.  The downsides however were slick roads and potentially treacherous conditions.  Even with help from Mother Nature, the fire was still active beneath downed vegetation and snow with open flames occasionally seen.  With safety managers concerned for firefighters’ well-being, they were pulled off the line after ... Crystal Fire: April 7 – Road Blocks lifted at noon

  The Larimer County Sheriff's Office issued emergency phone notifications to residents in the Crystal Fire area this morning notifying them that the existing roadblocks will be lifted at noon today. The Sheriff is requesting that everyone limit unnecessary traffic in the area as the roads are slippery and there is still a great deal of heavy emergency equipment on the roads along with movement of the firefighters.  The public is reminded that many roads in that area are private ...
