Date:                   May 3, 2011 Several homes had to be evacuated in the 3300-block of Saratoga Street in Wellington last night as Larimer County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a report of a domestic disturbance with a woman and child allegedly not being allowed to leave the residence.  After deputies arrived, they discovered the woman and child had left the residence but at least one gunshot was heard coming from inside the residence.  A pistol was later recovered ... Lady Spartans Place Fifth in R2-J Invitational By Dan Karpiel Sports Writer The Berthoud High School girls golf team competed in the R2-J league meet on Thursday at the hilly Mariana Butte Golf Course in Loveland. As a team, the Lady Spartans finished in fifth place out of the six teams competing from the Northern League of class 4A.   Berthoud Fire Protection District Incident Summary,  April 2011 Saturday, April 2 BFPD responded to a commercial structure fire alarm at 1328 N First Street. The alarm turned out to be a false alarm. BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries on I-25 at MM 252.
