Colorado to Face Bossier-Shreveport in Fifth Trip to Finals
WINDSOR, Colo. – With their win over the defending CHL champion Rapid City Rush this evening, the Colorado Eagles have advanced to the Presidents’ Cup Finals where they’ll have home-ice advantage over the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs in a best-of-seven series to claim the Ray Miron Presidents’ Cup. This marks the fifth time in eight seasons of existence that Colorado has advanced to the CHL’s championship round, winning in 2005 & 2007. The complete series schedule (including times) is listed below. Tickets will go on sale Thursday, May 12 at 10 a.m.
The Eagles and Mudbugs have been common playoff opponents, squaring off three times — including in each of the past two seasons (prior to the Mudbugs switching conferences prior to this season). Bossier-Shreveport has made it to the Presidents’ Cup Finals twice in the past decade, and won the league championship three consecutive times, starting in 1999.
Individual tickets for Eagles home playoff games can be purchased by visiting the Budweiser Events Center box office, calling 1-877-544-TIXX (8499) or online at www.ComcastTix.com. Special group rates are also available by calling the Eagles’ office at 970-686-SHOT (7468).
