A group of Greeley Firefighters will be collecting toys on Saturday, Dec. 3, for the Firefighters for Santa program. The donations of new, non-gift wrapped toys, or cash will be accepted at 354 50th Ave Ct, Greeley, from 6:00-9:00 PM, the home of firefighter Mike Medhurst, also known as the “Greeley Grizwalds ^[1]”, because of the overwhelming Christmas light display.

^[2]The overall display includes over 135,000 lights controlled by 320 computer light channels and powered by over 400 amps. Santa Claus will be attending the event, assisting the firefighters, as well as a vintage fire truck courtesy of Greeley Firefighters Local #888. All the toys collected will be distributed to families in the community, as identified by the Greeley Transitional House.
