Shifts In Police Tactics To Handle Crowds

NPR’s Talk of the Nation looked at the tactics police are using against the Occupy movement.
Guests include Philadelphia Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey and Norm Stamper, Chief of the Seattle police during the “Battle of Seattle” in 1999. Stamper says of his decision to use tear gas on the demonstrators, “Worst decision of my 34-year career.”
