Obituary: William H. Schwindt

William “Bill” H. Schwindt, 90, passed away on April 16, 2013, at home. He was born on March 6, 1923 in Berthoud to Henry and Elizabeth (Nolde) Schwindt and grew up in the Berthoud/Loveland area. His parents and grandparents were German-Russian immigrants who settled and farmed in Berthoud. Growing up on a farm, the values of hard work and family traditions were taught to him early, and carried through to the rest of his life. He married Dorothy Frank on January 26, 1947 in Loveland ... Premier's own Level 10, Bailie Holst is now a Minnesota Golden Gopher Gymnast. Bailie signed her Letter of Intent yesterday at Berthoud High School, surrounded by family, friends and Press. Loveland gymnast takes second place in regional competition

    Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies gymnast Bailie Holst, placed all four events at the Level 10 Region 3 regional competition in Wichita, Kansas this past weekend. Holst scored an impressive 38.050 to earn her second place in the All-Around Competition in the Senior B Division. Holst was also crowned Beam Champion with a score of 9.600. Firefighters Identify Faulty Rooftop HVAC Unit   At 08:48 a.m. (April 3, 2013) the Greeley Fire Department was called to 3035 23rd Ave, the Golden Corral restaurant, in Greeley, on the report of a possible structure fire. Upon their arrival, responding fire crews reported that the restaurant had been evacuated. Restaurant employees reported smelling and seeing smoke inside the business.
