Berthoud Fire Protection District Incident activity for June 2013 Saturday, June 1 BFPD responded to a reported grass fire on Meadowlark Dr. This was a controlled ditch burn but due to the wind the fire was getting out of control. The fire crew assisted with extinguishing the fire. BFPD responded to a diesel fuel leak on East Indiana Ave. The crew stopped the leak in the truck and contacted the owner.
