Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies By Wendy Kenner November 23, 2013 Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies dominated the Turkey Tumbler Gymnastics Meet on November 16 and 17. The meet was hosted by CATS Gymnastics in Boulder, Colorado. The Level 3, 4, and 5 teams all placed 1st in the team competitions. September 17, 1940 - November 16, 2013 Raymond Dicks, age, 73, passed away on Saturday, November 16, in Eugene, Oregon while exiting Autzen Stadium. He died of a massive heart attack while being tended by many trained people. The following Sunday morning, he became an organ donor. Ray was a resident of Roseburg, Oregon for 51 years. Walter “Pops” Frederick Meyer passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2013. He was born in Pender, Nebraska, on August 10, 1920, to August and Ida Meyer. He was the youngest of 11 children. He farmed his family’s land until 1962 when he moved to Loveland. In 1970, he married and started a family with Carmen Powell and her four children. Laurene Louise Ellis, 83, of Berthoud, died November 18, 2013. She was born January 12, 1930 in Berthoud to Conrad and Leora (Drieth) Krieger. Laurene grew up in Berthoud and graduated from Berthoud High School in 1948. Shortly after high school, on March 20, 1949 she married Chester Ellis in Berthoud. She was a skilled homemaker, worked as a telephone operator and school secretary in Berthoud. She also worked for a scientific company in Loveland and retired from HP after 22 years of service. ... Incident activity for October 2013 Tuesday, October 8 BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 250. This was a single vehicle rollover accident with no injuries. BFPD responded with TVEMS to a report of a track runner who had fallen and had a seizure at Berthoud High School. The patient’s mother was contacted and arrived on scene. 2013 Monster Mash Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies Wendy Kenner November 1-3, 1023             Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies competed in the 2013 Monster Mash in Littleton, Colorado on November 1 -3.  All three teams did well in the team placements. The Level 3 and 4 teams took first place and the Level 5 team placed 3rd.
