Vote No on 241

Dear Editor, I am a fifth generation Larimer County native, one generation removed from the cattle business. I am concerned about Berthoud’s unneeded Growth Management Area (GMA) expansions and annexations outside of existing GMA boundaries. Berthoud’s current GMA is over 24,000 acres in size. Berthoud currently has 10,712 lots in some type of planning review (enough for a population of well over 30,000 people). The current GMA is large enough to make Berthoud similar in population ... Greenwald on Clapper

Inside the Mind of James Clapper By Glenn Greenwald I’m going to have a story published later today about a new document, but until then, this new interview with (and profile of) Director of National Intelligence James Clapper by the Daily Beast‘s Eli Lake is worth spending a few moments examining. Last week, Lake published one excerpt of his interview where Clapper admitted that the U.S. Government should have told the American people that the NSA was collecting their ... Full Story

Here’s What 60 Minutes Didn’t Tell You About the F-35

The millions of viewers who tuned into 60 Minutes Sunday may have gotten the impression that, despite being billions over budget and almost a decade behind schedule, the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter is ultimately necessary to maintain U.S. air superiority. That’s an unsurprising conclusion, given that all of the individuals interviewed in the story work either for the federal government or for Lockheed Martin, the primary contractor for the F-35. 60 Minutes’ producers broke a basic ... Jesus Wants You To Buy An AR-15

This Week In Crazy  By Henry Decker #1 This week’s “winner” is retired lieutenant general and current Family Research Council vice president Jerry Boykin.
