Mary Ruth Lara  (May 15, 1936 - March 1, 2017) Mary Ruth Lara, 80, wife of Santiago Lara was born May 15, 1936 in Denver Colorado suddenly passed of a massive stroke on March 1, 2017 with her family by her side. Ruth was the eldest of ten children and born to Pete and Phyllis (Ornelas) Velasquez. Ruth married Santiago C.
