Funeral services for Jonathan Ohara Brown, 20, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at the Impact Ministries, 956 Maple Street, Wheatland, Wyoming with Pastor Jeremy Haroldson officiating. Jonathan died Thursday, May 17, 2018 near Wheatland, Wyoming. Updated May 1, 2018 Berthoud Fire Protection District Incident Activity   Sunday, April 1 Berthoud Fire responded to a grass fire in the block of 115th Street and Ish Reservoir. The crew found a fallen cottonwood tree on fire. The property owner came out and stated he lit the fire so he could place piping in the ground. Berthoud High graduate Gabriel Conde killed in action

By Hans Peter Reporter-Herald Staff Writer A Berthoud High School graduate was killed in action Monday while serving in Afghanistan, weeks before his unit's deployment in the country was scheduled to end. The U.S. Department of Defense announced Tuesday that Spc. Gabriel D. Conde, 22, died of small arms fire in the Tagab District while supporting Operation Freedom's Sentinel, according to a release from the department. The incident is still under investigation,
