Obituary: Christopher Michael Premer

  Christopher Michael Premer, age 42, passed away early Saturday morning, March 29, 2014 from complications of a short illness. Chris was a 1990 graduate of Berthoud High School and a 1997 graduate of UNC. He was a Shelter Insurance Agent in Loveland since 2008. Chris's priority in life and best friend was his son Alexander. Obituary: Peter Eric Van Kleek

Peter Eric Van Kleek, 85, of Berthoud,  died on March 18, 2014 at Broomfield Skilled Facility in Broomfield.  He was born in St. Petersburg, Florida in 1929 to John Raymond and Joan (Hill) Van Kleek. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. Peter graduated from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York with a degree in Hotel Management. He married Barbara Jane King in June of 1954. The Level 7 team placed 4th in the team competition. The Level 8 team placed 3rd in the team competition. There were several top 5 individual placements. Lenora Strachan, 81, of Berthoud, died on March 3, 2014 at her home in Berthoud. She was born on March 8, 1932 in Erick, Oklahoma to Wit Wiley and Beulah (Wells) Warren. Lenora graduated from high school in Porterville, California She married Richard D. Strachan on December 23, 1954 in Lubbock, Texas.
