Armed Robbery Suspect in Custody

Press release from Larimer County Sheriff’s Department

On June 23, 2010, in a joint effort investigators from the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office along with detectives from the Thornton Police Department and in conjunction with the Johnstown Police Department and the Weld County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team arrested Jason Edward Sisler, a 35-year-old Johnstown man, on a charge of Aggravated Robbery, a class three felony. This arrest is in connection with a robbery that occurred June 17, 2010, at 11:35 P. M. at the Loveland Country Store at 5518 East Eisenhower Boulevard in unincorporated Larimer County.

Detectives from the Thornton Police Department provided information to Larimer County Sheriff’s Office investigators that made this arrest possible. Thornton detectives along with other law enforcement personnel in the Denver Metro area will be examining leads and analyzing information to determine if this arrest is connected to numerous armed robberies that have occurred over the past several weeks as have been reported in the media. At this time Mr. Sisler has not been charged with any other crime.

Since investigators will be interviewing numerous witnesses and following other leads throughout the Denver Metro area, photographs of Sisler will at this time be withheld.
