Tuesday, December 1

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call at the Berthoud Living Center.

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call for occupants of a vehicle near E. LCR 2 and S. LCR 15.

Wednesday, December 2

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call on 4th Street. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a medical call for a patient who had fallen on 8th Street. The patient was complaining of shoulder pain. Patient care was transferred to TVEMS when they arrived.

Thursday, December 3

BFPD responded to a report of power lines down on Elm Drive. The crew found a fire burning at the base of a power pole, in a compost pile, a wood fence, a phone box and some trees. The fire was extinguished. Xcel responded to repair the damage to the power lines.

BFPD responded to a medical call on E. Iowa Avenue for a person with knee pain. Patient care was transferred to TVEMS when they arrived. The fire crew helped with loading the patient for transport.

BFPD responded to an auto vs pedestrian accident on 6th Street Court. The pedestrian was found sitting on the curb unharmed. The driver of the vehicle had fled the scene.

Friday, December 4

BFPD and TVEMS responded to a medical call for a person with seizures on Bruce Drive. The patient was transported.

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call on 1st Street for a patient who had fallen out of a chair.

BFPD and TVEMS responded to a medical call on Yellowstone Road. The patient care was transferred to TVEMS.

BFPD responded to a report of a CO detector alarming in a residence on Arapahoe Drive. The fire crew did not find elevated readings of carbon monoxide in the building. The crew advised the occupant to replace the detector.

Saturday, December 5

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call on Keep Circle for a patient who had fallen. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a single vehicle accident on E. Highway 56. A vehicle was found with heavy damage. on its side, in a fence, against a power pole. The passenger was extricated from the vehicle and transported.

BFPD and TVEMS responded to a medical call at Berthoud Living Center. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call at Berthoud Living Center. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a report of a bonfire on WCR5 and Highway 56. The crew found a 25’ x 20’ slash pile burning. This was an unauthorized burn. The crew remained on scene until the fire was extinguished.

Sunday, December 6

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call on Welch Avenue. A female had fallen on the concrete and injured her head. The patient was transported.

Monday, December 7

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 252. One vehicle had moderate damage. No injuries were reported.

Tuesday, December 8

BFPD responded to a report of a person on County Road 8E who had fallen. The patient was found on the driveway complaining of right arm and leg pain. TVEMS transported the patient.

Wednesday, December 9

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call on East Michigan.

BFPD assisted a citizen requests for a welfare check on 2nd Street.

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call at Apple Leaf Assisted Living. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a gas leak on Sheehan Drive. The crew found a cut natural gas line with obvious signs of discharge and the area was evacuated. The Xcel energy crew arrived and stopped the leak.

BFPD assisted with a medical call on 1st and Mountain Avenue.

Friday, December 11

BFPD and TVEMS responded to a medical call on Franklin Avenue. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call for diabetic complications on S. CR 27E.

BFPD and TVEMS responded to a medical call at the Town of Berthoud office. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a service call to close up a Knox box [1] in the 2000 Block of 1st. Street. The box was locked and the crew returned to the Station.

BFPD responded to a medical call in the 900 Block of Schofield Rd. The crew assisted with patient care.

BFPD responded to a medical call in the 800 Block of Franklin Ave. The crew was cancelled en-route.

BFPD responded to a fuel spill at I-25 MM 250. A 5-Gallon gas can was lying in one of the NB lanes. The crew removed the can and used absorbent to clean up the spill.

Saturday, December 12,

BFPD responded to a medical call for breathing problems in the 1600 Block of Celeste Ln. Patient was transported by TVEMS.

BFPD responded to a medical call in the 900 Block of Schofield Rd. BFPD assisted TVEMS with the patient. The patient was transported.

BFPD was dispatched to I-25 MM 250 NB for an odor investigation. Nothing was found.

Sunday, December 13

BFPD responded to single vehicle accident on County Road 8. No injuries were involved. The accident scene was turned over to CSP.

Monday, December 14

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call for breathing problems on Iowa Avenue. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a medical call on 14th Street. The patient was transported.

BFPD assisted a citizen on 1100 block of Welch Avenue.

Tuesday, December 15

BFPD responded to a two-vehicle accident on 1st Street and CR 12. Both vehicles had slid off the roadway into the ditch. There were no reported injuries.

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 251. An unoccupied vehicle was found in the median.

BFPD responded to a single vehicle in the ditch at mile marker 252. The driver was uninjured.

BFPD and TVEMS responded to a fall victim on 4th Street. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a medical call for chest pain on Colorado Avenue. At the arrival of TVEMS the fire crew assisted with loading the patient for transport.

BFPD responded to a medical call on CR 17 and Highway 287. A vehicle had slid off the roadway due to road conditions. There were no reported injuries.

Wednesday, December 16

BFPD responded to a medical call on LCR 8. The crew assisted TVEMS with transporting the patient.

BFPD responded to a single vehicle rollover accident on WCR 1. The crew found a single vehicle on its roof in the ditch east of the road. There were no injuries reported. The crew assisted with traffic control.

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Highway 287. A single vehicle had slid into the ditch. There were no injuries reported.

BFPD responded to a medical call for chest pain on Blue Mountain Avenue. The crew assisted the patient until the arrival of TVEMS. The patient was transported.

BFPD assisted a citizen with faulty smoke detectors in a residence on Gateway Park Lane.

Thursday, December 17

BFPD and TVEMS responded to a medical call at Berthoud Living Center. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call for chest pain at Berthoud Living Center. The patient was transported.

BFPD and TVEMS responded to a medical call at Berthoud Living Center. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a medical at Berthoud Living Center. The crew assisted TVEMS with loading the patient to be transported.

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle that had slid off the roadway on LCR 17. There were no injuries reported. The fire crew assisted the driver back onto the roadway and then cleared the scene.

Friday, December 18

BFPD assisted a citizen with replacing smoke detectors throughout a residence on Mount Meeker Avenue.

BFPD responded to a report of a fall on Karen Court. The crew assisted the patient until the arrival of TVEMS. The patient was transported.

Saturday, December 19

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on I-25 at mile marker 252. This was a non-injury related accident.

BFPD responded to a four-vehicle accident including a semi-truck on I-25 at mile marker 249. There was minor damage to the vehicles but no injuries were reported. The crew assisted with traffic control and clearing debris from the roadway.

BFPD responded to a medical call on Malibu Dr. The crew assisted TVEMS with transporting the patient.

BFPD and TVEMS assisted Berthoud Police on County Road 27E.

Sunday, December 20

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on CR 15 and CR 2E. A single vehicle was found on its top with an uninjured driver out of the vehicle. The crew assisted with traffic control.

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call at Berthoud Living Center for chest pain. The patient was transported.

Monday, December 28

BFPD responded to Glenview Drive and assisted TVEMS with administering patient care.

BFPD responded for an odor investigation on Oak Drive. The fire crew determined that the smell of smoke was due to a heat lamp that had melted the top side of a container and the residual odor was what the homeowner was smelling.

Tuesday, December 29

BFPD responded to Glen Drive for a citizen assist, helping load a child into a car seat. The RP is physically disabled and was not able to do it without assistance.

Wednesday, December 30

BFPD responded to WCR 5 for a building fire. With smoke showing from the roof, Berthoud Fire went into attack mode. Command confirmed from tenant that the house was unoccupied. Mountain View Fire also assisted with the fire. Scene turned over to investigators, fire units cleared.

BFPD responded to Wilshire Drive for a person with breathing problems. The crew assisted TVEMS with transport.

BFPD responded to Franklin Street for a medical call along with P331.

BFPD responded to LCR 4 for a sick person. Assisted TVEMS with patient care.

Thursday, December 31

BFPD responded to Bein Avenue with a medical assist with TVEMS.

BFPD responded to Welch Avenue for a sick person. Assisted TVEMS with patient care.
