Saturday, November 2

BFPD responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25. The crew was unable to find an incident.

Monday, November 4

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 near mile marker 250. This was a two-vehicle accident with no injuries reported.

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call on 6th St. The patient was experiencing breathing difficulties was transported.

Tuesday, November 5

BFPD assisted a person on Glen Drive who had a cut finger.

BFPD responded to an odor investigation on Massachusetts Ave. The fire crew searched the area but was unable to find any source of gas odor.

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call on Welch Ave. The patient was transported.

Thursday, November 7

BFPD responded to a reported fire alarm on Cheyenne Drive. The fire crew met the responsible party at the residence and was told the smoke detectors were sounding an alarm. There were no signs of fire present. The smoke alarm batteries were replaced and the crew recommended replacing the detectors.

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call on Soaring Peaks Drive. The patient was transported.

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call at the Berthoud Living Center. The patient was transported.

Friday, November 8

BFPD garage fire Berthoud Fire Calls: October/November 2013 [1]BFPD responded to a report of a detached garage on fire on County Road 23. [1] The unoccupied garage was fully involved threatening a nearby structure. Longmont Fire responded as mutual aide. The fire was extinguished and the structure was overhauled.

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Fourth St. A moving vehicle had hit two parked cars causing moderate damage to all the vehicles. One patient was transported.

Saturday, November 9

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call on Berthoud Peak Drive.

BFPD responded to a motorcycle accident at Valley Dirt Rider. An injured rider was transported.

BFPD responded to a single vehicle rollover on N. County Road 17. The vehicle was found on its side with two occupants still inside the vehicle. The occupants had to be extracted. One occupant was transported for possible neck injuries.

Sunday, November 10

BFPD responded to a medical call for a child who was riding in a vehicle on Interstate 25 and fell and hit his head. TVEMS assisted the patient while the fire crew controlled the traffic.

Tuesday, November 12

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call on First St. for a person who had fallen and broken their hip. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a report of a carbon monoxide alarm in a residence on Sunbird Lane. The crew was unable to detect any readings of carbon monoxide in the home.

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call on Fourth Drive.

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call on Wilshire Drive for a person with an allergic reaction causing breathing difficulties. The patient was transported.

Wednesday, November 13

BFPD responded to a reported commercial fire on South County Road 29 and West County Road 12. The crew searched the area and located a white silo but no fire was found in or around the area.

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call for diabetic problems on Fifth Street.

Thursday, November 14

BFPD responded to a medical call on Wild Wing Drive.

Friday, November 15

BFPD responded to a gas odor investigation on Legacy Heights Drive. The crew was led to a new propane tank recently purchased that seemed to be leaking. The crew confirmed the new tank had a pinhole size leak which was causing the odor. The tank was moved away and the remaining propane was bled. The owner was advised to return the tank from where it was purchased.

Saturday, November 16

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25. The crew found three cars involved with little damage to the vehicles. Two occupants were complaining of mild pain.

BFPD responded to a single vehicle rollover near the intersection of W. County Road 2e and Buehler Acres Drive. A BMW convertible was found on its roof in a nearby field. All the parties were out of the vehicle. One occupant was evaluated for injury by TVEMS.

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call on Third St.

Sunday, November 17

BFPD and TVEMS responded to a medical call on County Road 15. The patient was transported.

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call on Turner Ave. The patient was transported.

Monday, November 18

BFPD responded to a carbon monoxide alarm on Turner Avenue. The fire crew was unable to detect any signs of CO in the residence and recommended changing batteries in the alarm.

BFPD responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 249. There were four cars involved and no injuries were reported.

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 248. This was a two-car accident with no injuries reported.

Tuesday, November 19

BFPD responded to a medical call on Fourth Street for a male who had fallen. The fire crew assisted TVEMS with medical care. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a smoke odor investigation inside a residence on Bimson Ave. The fire crew met with the party who reported a smoke smell in the apartment. The crew searched inside and out of the building and nothing was found.

Wednesday, November 20

BFPD assisted a patient who walked into Fire Station 2 complaining of chest pain. The patient care was transferred to TVEMS upon their arrival. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call at the Berthoud Living Center. The patient was transported.

Thursday, November 21

BFPD responded to a report of a vehicle that had rolled into the ditch on County Road 8 at the end of the Station 2 driveway. A SUV was in the ditch on its top. One occupant was complaining of neck pain.

BFPD responded to Third Street and Massachusetts Avenue to investigate a report of a propane smell in the area. The crew was unable to detect any readings.

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on County Road 8. Two vehicles were involved in a rear end accident with minor damage and no injuries.

BFPD responded to a weather related motor vehicle accident on Mountain Avenue. There were no injuries reported.

BFPD responded to a carbon monoxide detector that was alarming on Gary Drive. The crew didn’t find any levels of CO. The crew recommended replacing the expired detector.

BFPD assisted a person who had fallen in their residence on Bristlecone Court. The crew assisted the patient into their chair.

BFPD responded to another weather related single-vehicle mishap, a vehicle hit a light pole on Mountain Avenue. There were no injuries reported.

BFPD responded to County Road 17 to find a multiple vehicle accidents, all were low speed and non-injury. The crew assisted with directing traffic.

BFPD responded to two accidents on Interstate 25. There was minor damage and no injuries reported.

Friday, November 22

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call on Elmwood Street. The patient was transported.

Saturday, November 23

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call for a sick person on Wilfred Road. The patient was transported.

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call on Iowa Avenue. The patient was transported.

Monday, November 25

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call at the Berthoud Living Center.

BFPD assisted a citizen at their residence on Burbank Street. The fire crew used the monitor to check for carbon monoxide and no measurable levels were detected.

Tuesday, November 26

BFPD responded to a reported fire, threatening structures. The crew found a vehicle and boat fully involved in fire. The crew extinguished the fire before it extended to the nearby structure.

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call for chest pain on Nebraska Avenue. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a reported residential structure fire in Loveland on 15th St. The incident was cancelled by Loveland Fire after determining it was burnt food on the stove. The Berthoud crew returned to the District.

Wednesday, November 27

BFPD responded to a medical call for a person with breathing problems on Columbine Circle. The crew assisted TVEMS with the patient care. The patient was then transported.

Friday, November 29

BFPD responded to a medical call at the Berthoud Living Center. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call on Weld County Road 38. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a reported ill person who was in a vehicle near Soaring Peaks Drive. TVEMS arrived on scene and the crew helped load the patient to be transported.

Sunday, December 1

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call on Marshal Place. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a medical call on Douglas Place for a person having a seizure. The crew assisted TVEMS with medical care. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a four-vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 250. There was moderate to heavy damage to the vehicles. One occupant required medical attention. The crew helped with traffic control and the clearing of hazards from the roadway.
