Saturday, November 1

BFPD responded to a reported chemical spill on the roadway on Weld County Road 7.

BFPD responded to a motorcycle accident on Larimer County Road 8E. The injured cyclist was transported.

Sunday, November 2

BFPD responded to a reported grass fire on Weld County Road 5. The fire crew found an authorized controlled burn.

BFPD and TVEMS responded to a medical call for back pain on N. County Road 13. The patient was transported.

Monday, November 3

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call at Kwik Korner. The patient was transported.

BFPD assisted a citizen on W. County Road 10E who had fallen and needed assistance.

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call on 9th Street and Welch Ave.

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of 287 and County Road 8. This was a two-car accident with minor damage. No injuries were reported.

BFPD responded with TVEMS to Berthoud Living Center for a person who had fainted.

Tuesday, November 4

BFPD responded to a residence on Keep Circle with a suspected carbon monoxide leak. The crew did not get any reading of CO in the home. It was determined to be a faulty detector.

Wednesday, November 5

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call on Sioux Drive. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a report of a grass fire on Interstate 25 at mile marker 250. The crew was unable to locate a fire.

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Lake Avenue and 5th Street. There was light damage to the vehicles. There were no injuries reported.

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 250. This was a two-vehicle accident with minor damage. This was a non-injury accident.

Thursday, November 6

BFPD responded to a medical call for cardiac arrest on Windemere Road. The patient was deceased upon arrival.

BFPD responded to a report of an odor on 7th Street. The fire crew did not find a source of an odor.

BFPD responded with Johnstown Fire to a reported hay barn fire on Weld County Road 48 and County Road 7. The first on scene reported there was not a fire so the call was cancelled.

Friday, November 7

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Bennet Road and N. County Road 27E. A single vehicle was found in a ditch. There were no injuries reported.

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call on Lela Court.

Monday, November 10

BFPD and TVEMS responded to the medical offices on 5th Street and Mountain Avenue for a sick person. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to multiple vehicles off the roadway on Interstate 25 due to weather conditions.

BFPD responded to a two-vehicle accident on Highway 287. This was a head on collision with heavy front-end damage to the vehicles. One occupant needed to be extricated from the vehicle and was transported due to injuries.

BFPD responded to a residential fire alarm on Shelby Drive. The residence was unoccupied and the crew did not find any signs of fire.

Tuesday, November 11

BFPD assisted a walk-in patient who needed medical care.

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call for a woman in labor on 2nd Street. The patient was transported.

Wednesday, November 12

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 249. There were no injuries reported. The fire crew assisted with moving the vehicle and trailer off the roadway.

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on LCR 8 and Goosehollow Road. There were no injuries reported.

BFPD assisted with traffic block on LCR 8 and Goosehollow Road while a vehicle that had slid off the road was pulled back onto the roadway.

BFPD assisted with another vehicle that had slid off the roadway on LCR 8 and LCR 23. The fire crew blocked traffic while the vehicle was removed from the ditch.

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call for a person with heart problems on Lakritz Avenue.

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 250. There were no injuries or hazards.

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical transport for a patient at Berthoud Living Center.

Thursday, November 13

BFPD assisted with a walk-in patient at Station 2 on W. County Road 8. The patient was in and out of consciousness. TVEMS arrived and the patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a reported vehicle fire on West County Road 4. The crew found a Ford F-350 on fire with the engine compartment fully involved. The fire crew extinguished the fire. A fire investigator was notified.

Friday, November 14

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 253. This was a non-injury accident.

BFPD responded to a report of a gas/odor situation on Breckenridge Court. The crew did not find leaking gas but heard a hiss of purging gas lines at the construction site nearby.

Saturday, November 15

BFPD responded to an 18-wheeler truck that had rolled over on Highway 60 and LCR 11. The driver was injured and transported. The fire crew assisted with managing road hazard and provided traffic control.

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call for a child having seizures on Weld CR 46.

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call at Berthoud Living Center. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to eight calls for motor vehicle accidents on Interstate 25 throughout the day due to icy, snowy conditions. There were no medical injuries reported.

Sunday, November 16

BFPD responded to a residential structure fire on Colorado Avenue. Upon arrival the home was not evacuated and had smoke visible from the second story window. The occupants were trying to extinguish a fire that appeared to have started in an upstairs bedroom. The occupants were asked to leave the residence while the crew extinguished the fire. The fire appeared to be contained to the closet but the crew investigated the rest of the structure for possible fire extension into other areas of the residence. The fire investigator arrived and it was decided the structure was safe for occupancy. The crew left the scene and the structure was left with the owner.

Monday, November 17

BFPD and TVEMS assisted a person with breathing problems on County Road 21. The patient was transported.

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call on Wilshire Drive. The patient was transported.

Tuesday, November 18

BFPD assisted TVEMS and LCSO with a person with frostbite symptoms on Welch Avenue.

BFPD responded to a vacant building with a reported water leak on Fourth Street. The fire crew stopped the leak and the property manager was notified.

Wednesday, November 19

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call at Hays Market. The patient was transported.

BFPD was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 252. The fire crew was unable to locate an accident.

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call at Berthoud Living Center. The patient was transported.

Thursday, November 20

BFPD responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 253.This was a multi-vehicle accident.

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call for a resident with abdominal pain at Berthoud Living Center. The patient was transported.

BFPD was dispatched to a report of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 252. The crew was unable to locate an accident.

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call for a person with breathing problems on West CR 6. The patient was transported.

Friday, November 21

BFPD responded to a medical call at the Berthoud Living Center. The crew assisted TVEMS with transporting the patient.

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call on Welch Ave. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a report of a person passed out on the side of the road near Highway 287 and LCR 8. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a citizen assist for an injured animal on Zuercher Lane. The animal was injured from a fall and the owner needed assistance with a lift.

BFPD responded to a multi- vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 253.

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call for a person with back pain on Second Street. The patient was transported.

BFPD assisted with a medical call with TVEMS and LCSO on Second Street.

BFPD responded to a medical call for heart problems on West County Road 6. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a medical call on Windchime Court. The patient was transported.

Sunday, November 23

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call on West CR 10E. The patient was transported.

Monday, November 24

BFPD assisted TVEMS and LCSO with a medical call on Eighth Street.

Tuesday, November 25

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call for dizziness and breathing problems on Blue Mountain Ave. The patient was transported.

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call at the Berthoud Living Center. The patient was transported.

BFPD and TVEMS responded to a medical call for seizures on Eighth Street.

Wednesday, November 26

BFPD responded to a chicken coop and fence fire on Sixth Street. The fence fire was quickly extinguished. After investigation it was determined that the heat lamp in the chicken coop was the cause of the fire.

BFPD responded to a commercial fire alarm at a church on N. County Road 21. The fire crew didn’t find anything showing and this was determined to be a false alarm.

BFPD assisted a citizen on Second Street with a faulty carbon monoxide detector.

Friday, November 28

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call on County Road 17. The patient was transported.

BFPD assisted a citizen at a residence on Fifth Street.

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on LCR 8 and LCR 21. This was a t-bone type collision. There were no injuries reported. The fire crew controlled traffic and assessed hazards.

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Eighth and Mountain Ave. This was a single vehicle accident with minor damage and no injuries were reported.

Saturday, November 29

BFPD and TVEMS assisted a citizen on Weld County Road 5.

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call on Fifth Street. An infant with respiratory complications was transported.
