October 1 – 3

Friday, October 1

Squad 61 dispatched to the 200 block of 2nd Street for a 60-year old woman with breathing problems. TVEMS arrived on scene and assumed patient care. The crew assisted with assessment, packaging, and loading of the patient into the ambulance for transport.

Citizen assist at Station 1 for a car seat installation.

Saturday, October 2

Engine 62 dispatched to the 3300 block of Tranquility Way for a 54-year old woman with back pain. TVEMS assumed patient assessment and care. The crew assisted with packaging the patient for transport to a local hospital.

Engine 61 dispatched to the 900 block of Massachusetts Avenue for a 14-year old boy with a head injury. The crew began patent assessment and transferred care to TVEMS. The patient was packaged for transport.

Engine 61 dispatched to the 800 block of Winding Brook Drive for a medical on a 13-year old girl. The crew began patient assessment. TVEMS arrived and assumed patient care. The patient was packaged for transport to a local hospital.

Engine 61 dispatched to the 700 block of 4th Street for a medical on a 39-year old man. The crew began patient assessment. LCSO arrived on scene along with TVEMS. The patient was able to walk with assistance to the ambulance. He was packaged onto the cot and transported to a local hospital.

Engine 61 responded to the 800 block of 7th Street for an 83-year old man with back pain. TVEMS started patient assessment, and the crew assisted with vitals and medication list. The patient was able to walk to the cot and was packaged and loaded into the ambulance for transport.

Engine 61 dispatched to I-25 NB for a two-vehicle accident. The occupants were checked for injuries and reported none. Both lanes of traffic were blocked until CSP was able to clear both cars from the roadway.

Sunday, October 3

Engine 61 responded to the 1700 block of 1st Street for a patient with back pain. TVEMS arrived on scene, and the patient was packaged for transport.

Squad 62 dispatched to the 2100 block of Taras Court for a laceration. The crew began patient care and transferred care to TVEMS. The bleeding was controlled, and the patient was packaged and loaded into the ambulance for transport to a local hospital.

Squad 61 responded to the 1400 block of Sabin Court for an 88-year old woman who was sick. The crew assisted TVEMS with assessing vitals and loading the patient for transport.

Squad 61 dispatched to the 700 block of Canyonlands Street for a law enforcement medical assist. The crew assessed the scene and cleared once TVEMS and LCSO arrived.

Squad 62 dispatched to the 100 block of Quandry Avenue for a 34-year old man with stroke symptoms. TVEMS assessed the patient and cleared Squad 62 from the scene.

 

October 4 – 10

Monday, Oct. 4

Engine 61 responded to the 2000 block of Weld County Road 42 for a 65-year-old who had passed out and fallen out of his chair. Command was transferred to TVEMS, and the patient refused transport.

Engine 62 dispatched to the 2000 block of Heron Pkwy for a 78-year-old woman not conscious. TVEMS took over patient care and provided CPR. At which time the patient was loaded into the ambulance for transport to a local hospital.

Berthoud Fire arrived on scene for mutual aid for a structure fire in the 1000 block of Fuchsia Court in Loveland. The crew started pulling off soffit on the exterior, and the fire was knocked down. It was determined that the overhaul would require 2 companies and approximately 1 hour to complete.

Station 1 received a walk-in who requested help for a lady locked out of a pick-up truck at Berthoud Elementary. The crew was able to access using a wedge and big easy through the passenger side door. Once in the vehicle, the women’s identification and registration were checked to confirm that the vehicle belonged to her.

Berthoud units were dispatched to a reported grass fire off Cty Road 8E near Pierre Ridge Road with reports that the fire had been extinguished by a bystander. On scene found a grass fire approximately 50-feet in length and the width of the culvert. The fire was out but still smoking. Engine 62 was assigned to mop up the hot spots.

Squad 61 responded to 14th Street SW in Loveland for a motorcycle that rear-ended a car. The crew assisted with medical on a full trauma patient. There was a small fluid leak from the motorcycle as the only hazard. Once the patient was loaded for transport, the crew addressed hazards.

Tuesday, Oct. 5

Engine 62 dispatched to the intersection of Cty Road 8E and Pierre Ridge for reports of a grass wildland fire. There was no smoke or heat. Upon further investigation, there was a small 4’ x 4’ smoldering pile of hay. The crew extinguished the fire.

Squad 62 along with TVEMS were dispatched to the Banner Health Clinic for a patient transport to a local hospital. The crew assisted with loading of the patient into the ambulance for transport.

Engine 61 responded to the 900 block of 4th Street for an assist to package a patient for transport to a local hospital.

Engine 61 dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Hwy 287, one mile north of Cty Road 8. Three vehicles were involved, one with heavy front- end damage from hitting an elk. All three parties refused treatment and transport. Debris and fluids were cleaned up while two of the cars were waiting on tow trucks to arrive.

Berthoud Fire responded to the 2000 block of Taras Court for a 76-year-old man who needed to be transported to a local hospital. TVEMS assumed patient care, and the crew assisted with packaging the patient for transport.

Wednesday, Oct. 6

Engine 61 responded to the 400 block of Lakritz Street for a 71-year-old man who had fallen and couldn’t get up. TVEMS assumed patient care, and the crew assisted with loading him into the ambulance for transport.

Engine 616 was on standby at Grace Place for the high school homecoming bonfire. The bonfire was ignited by fire personnel. The crew stood by in case of spot fires. The fire was then extinguished using booster line and hand tools. Fire was mopped up for any hot spots.

Thursday, Oct. 7

Berthoud Fire responded to the 2000 block of Barela Drive for a citizen assist. The crew changed batteries in smoke detector on a vaulted ceiling. System was tested and operating.

Berthoud Fire dispatched to the 1000 block of Rubinette Lane for a CO alarm after a vehicle had been left running in the garage. The crew entered the garage and home with the air monitoring equipment and found no elevated levels of CO. The homeowners had already opened doors and windows for natural ventilation. Upstairs elevated levels were found along with one person still asleep in their bedroom. They were awakened and assisted downstairs. It was confirmed that everyone was out of the house, and no one was feeling ill. More windows were opened and bathroom exhaust fans turned on to continue ventilating the second floor. After several minutes of natural ventilation, all areas of the house were down to safe levels of CO and continuing to drop. The homeowner was told to keep the windows open to continue ventilating.

Engine 61 dispatched to I-25 mm252 SB for two-vehicle accident. Engine 61 provided a safe working area for CSP, and the tow truck driver. Once all vehicles were removed from the roadway, CSP cleared Engine 61.

Friday, October 8

Squad 61 dispatched to the 1000 block of 7th Street for a medical. The patient reported difficulty breathing. TVEMS assumed patient care. The crew retrieved the cot and assisted with loading the patient for transport.

Citizen assist at the 3400 block of Curlew Drive for a faulty smoke detector. The detector was blown out with canned air, inspected and the battery was replaced. The system was tested for proper function, and Squad 61 cleared.

Engine 61 dispatched to Highway 287 and County Road 2E for a two-vehicle accident. The crew began to check for injuries and mitigate hazards. TVEMS evaluated the occupants and determined medical was not needed. CSP arrived on scene and pushed the disabled vehicle to the shoulder. The crew remained on scene to help with scene safety and traffic control.

Squad 61 responded to the Berthoud Living Center for a medical assist.

Engine 61 dispatched to the area of S Berthoud Parkway and Arapahoe Avenue for a two-vehicle accident. There were multiple LCSO deputies already on scene. The vehicle occupants were assessed for injuries, but none were reported. The crew cleared debris from the roadway and blocked traffic until the two vehicles could be towed.

Saturday, October 9

Squad 61 responded to the 1400 block of Mount Meeker Avenue for a 32-year-old woman with back pain. TVEMS assumed patient care and cleared Squad 61 from the scene.

Squad 61 responded to the 2300 block of W County Road 10 for a medical. The crew began patient assessment and transferred care to TVEMS. The patient was packaged and loaded into the ambulance for transport.

Engine 61 dispatched to the Berthoud Library for a medical on a 19-year-old female. LCSO located the mother and brought her to the location. It was determined by TVEMS and the patient’s mother that transport was not needed.

Service call to I-25 SB for a disabled vehicle. The vehicle was pushed to the westside shoulder of the road.

Squad 61 responded to the 1000 block of Wilshire Drive for a patient who had fallen. TVEMS assumed patient care. The crew assisted with loading the patient on the cot and into the ambulance for transport.

Squad 61 responded to the Berthoud Living Center for a medical.

Sunday, October 10

Engine 62 responded to the 400 block of Gunn Avenue for a male patient who had fallen. The crew started patient assessment and transferred care to TVEMS. The patient was packaged and loaded into the ambulance for transport.

Citizen assist to the 200 block of Hubbell Street to change smoke detector batteries.

Squad 61 dispatched to the 1600 block of Alpine Avenue for chest pains. The crew began patient assessment and transferred care to TVEMS. The patient was loaded into the ambulance for transport to a local hospital.

Engine 61 dispatched to the 11000 block of Yellowstone Road for two, 11-year-old girls who had fallen off a horse. The crew assisted TVEMS with patient care. Both parents refused transport for their children, and TVEMS cleared Engine 61 from the scene.

Engine 61 dispatched to the 900 block of Spartan Avenue for a 10-year-old boy who had dislocated his knee. TVEMS was able to manually reset the knee providing instant relief and less pain. The patient’s parents were advised to seek further evaluation with a doctor. Parents refused transport, and TVEMS cleared Engine 61 from the scene.

Citizen assist to the 2100 block of Caballo Avenue for a faulty smoke detector. The detector was identified and disabled. The crew provided a replacement detector to the homeowner until the homeowner could obtain new detectors.

Oct. 11 – 17

Monday, October 11

Engine 61 responded to the 3000 block of Snug Harbor Court for a 35-year-old man with breathing problems. TVEMS assumed patient care, and the crew assisted with loading of the patient for transport.

Engine 62 dispatched to the 3000 block of Center Ridge Drive for a 63-year-old man having chest pains. The patient was sitting in the kitchen. A pass down of vitals was given to TVEMS. The crew brought in the cot, and the patient was loaded for transport to a local hospital.

Tuesday, October 12

Citizens assist for a smoke detector that needed new batteries in the 200 block of 2nd Street.

Engine 61 along with TVEMS were dispatched to the 4000 block of High-Country Road for a 62-year-old man having a seizure. The crew assisted with vitals and getting a blood glucose level.

Squad 61 responded to the 2000 block of Urban Place for a 14-day old male that had periodically stopped breathing. TVEMS made patient contact and began assessment. The crew assisted with loading of the patient for transport along with his mother to a local hospital.

Wednesday, October 13

Engine 61 dispatched to the 300 block of Massachusetts Avenue for a CO alarm going off in the hallway. The crew contacted all the tenants in the building and immediately evacuated them outside. They were able to locate a hot water heater and two boilers at which time were shut down. Engine 61 remained on scene for the arrival of Xcel Energy.

Berthoud Fire dispatched to the area of Vantage Parkway and Lake View Avenue for an exterior gas leak. A 4-inch line had been cut, and Xcel Energy was notified to respond. The crew deployed a bumper hose line for fire protection, and the area was monitored. Xcel arrived and determined they needed to clamp a 2-inch, 4-inch and 6-inch line in order to stop the leak. Xcel asked for a second hose line to provide fire protection while clamping. After all lines were clamped, and the leak was stopped, Xcel cleared Berthoud Fire from the scene.

Engine 61 dispatched to the 300 block of E Iowa Avenue for a motor vehicle accident. The crew found a single vehicle off of the road into a tree. The driver was out of the vehicle and walking around. The crew checked the patient for injuries who reported none. LCSO requested lighting for the investigation. As soon as the investigation was complete, Engine 61 cleared the scene.

Engine 61 responded to the 3000 block of Lake Hollow Road for an odor investigation. The crew entered the home with the air monitoring equipment and found no elevated levels in the home or around the new hot water heater that had been installed. The homeowners thanked the crew and stated that they no longer required assistance.

Thursday, October 14

Squad 61 responded to the 1400 block of Sabin Court for an 88-year-old woman who was sick. TVEMS assumed patient care. The crew assisted with packaging and loading the patient into the ambulance for transport.

Squad 62 responded to the 400 block of Wark Avenue for an unknown medical problem. The crew began obtaining baseline vitals and transferred care to TVEMS. The patient was loaded into the ambulance for transport to a local hospital.

Squad 61 responded to the Berthoud Living Center for a medical.

Berthoud Fire dispatched to the 1000 block of Greenwood Drive for a dumpster fire. A 4×4 construction dumpster was lightly smoking and smoldering. Engine 61 extinguished the fire.

Squad 61 dispatched to the 800 block of 7th Street for an 83-yea-old man who had fallen. The patient did not have complaints of pain and just wanted assistance off of the floor and into his chair. The crew lifted the patient into the chair. The patient refused further care, and Squad 61 cleared the scene.

Engine 623 dispatched to the 4000 block of Meining Road for an outside burn. A small fire was being attended to by three individuals. The crew notified the property owner that a burn permit was needed, and the fire would have to be extinguished. The property owner extinguished the fire and was advised to obtain a burn permit in the future.

Squad 61 dispatched to the 800 block of Birdie Drive for a 79-year-old woman with breathing problems. TVEMS assumed patient care. The crew assisted with packaging and loading the patient into the ambulance for transport.

Friday, October 15

Engine 62 dispatched to the 3800 block of Meining Road for a medical alarm. The patient was found lying on the kitchen floor. The patient was conscious, breathing and alert. The crew began to obtain vitals and transferred patient care to TVEMS. Engine 62 helped package and load the patient into the ambulance for transport.

Berthoud Fire responded to the area of 4th Street and Bimson for a medical. The patient was found inside a vehicle and stated she had fallen asleep. TVEMS assumed patient care and determined that the patient did not require any medical evaluation. LCSO cleared Berthoud Fire and TVEMS from the scene.

Engine 61 dispatched to the 2100 block of Cadman Street for a 65-year-old man with chest pain. TVEMS assumed patient care and cleared Engine 61 from the scene.

Squad 61 dispatched to A&W for a person who had fallen. The patient was evaluated and transported to an area hospital.

Saturday, October 16

Engine 61 responded to the 300 block of Turner Avenue for a child locked in a vehicle. The child was sleeping and not in distress. The crew was able to gain access into the vehicle and parents were reunited with the child.

Sunday, October 17

Engine 61 dispatched to the 1400 block of Vantage Parkway for a medical. TVEMS assumed patient care.

Engine 61 dispatched to I-25 mm250 for a law enforcement request for a medical. A vehicle had blown a tire and sent the car into the guard rail. TVEMS assessed the patient while the crew checked and mitigated the vehicle for hazards. Engine 61 remained on scene to block traffic and wait for CSP to arrive.

Engine 61 dispatched to the 2100 block of Cadman Street for a person with breathing problems. The crew began patient assessment and transferred care to TVEMS.

Engine 61 responded to the Berthoud Living Center for a medical.

Engine 61 dispatched to the 300 block of E Colorado Avenue for a 90-year-old woman with chest discomfort. The crew stood by while TVEMS conducted an assessment and EKG.

Engine 61 responded to the 800 block of 14th Street for a lift assist to a 96-year-old man.

October 18-24

Monday, Oct. 18

Engine 61 responded to the 2000 block of Cadman Street for a 65-year-old man with breathing problems. TVEMS assumed patient care, and the crew assisted with loading of the patient for transport.

Engine 62 dispatched to the 2000 Blue Mountain Avenue for a cut gas line outside of the structure. A ¾” inch line was completely cut on the northside of the house. Xcel Energy arrived on scene. Engine 62 pulled a protection line while Xcel clamped the line.

Engine 61 responded to the 1000 block of Glacier Avenue for a 33-year-old man who was stuck under a truck. He was working under the truck when it possibly rolled over him. The crew placed a c-collar on patient, placed him on a back board, and slid him out from under the vehicle. TVEMS arrived on scene and took over patient care. The crew then assisted getting the patient onto the cot and into the ambulance for transport to a local hospital.

Engine 62 responded to the 2000 block of W. Cty Road 8 for a 47-year-old man having chest pains. The crew assisted TVEMS with packaging the patient for transport to a local hospital.

Engine 61 dispatched to the 1000 block of Gabriella Lane for an 89-year-old man who had fallen and hit his head. Another call came in and TVEMS said we could clear to take that call.

Engine 62 arrived at the scene in the 800 block of E. Cty Road 8 for a 74-year-old woman who had fallen and had hip pain. The patient was packaged onto the cot and loaded into the ambulance for transport.

Engine 61 responded to the 1000 block of Wilshire Drive for a medical. TVEMS assumed patient care. The crew assisted with loading of the patient for transport to a local hospital.

Tuesday, Oct. 19

Engine 62 responded to the 3000 block of Meining Road for an 87-year-old man who had fallen. The crew assisted the patient onto his feet and was then cleared from the scene by TVEMS.

Engine 61 responded to I-25 NB for some pallets in a truck bed that were on fire. Once the fire was put out no further investigation was needed.

Thursday, Oct. 21

Berthoud Squad 61 responded to the 1000 block of 4th Street for a 76-year-old woman with breathing problems. TVEMS assumed patient care, and the crew assisted with packaging the patient for transport.

Squad 62 responded to the 300 block of Northview Road for a 75-year-old man not feeling well. The crew began patient assessment and obtained vital signs. TVEMS assumed patient care on their arrival, and the patient was transported to the hospital.

Squad 61 dispatched to the 900 block of 9th Street for a 9-month-old that was choking. The LCSO officer on scene stated that the child was stable, breathing and not actively choking. The crew assessed the child and transferred care to TVEMS. Once the child’s condition was determined to be normal, TVEMS cleared Squad 61 from the scene.

Squad 61 dispatched to the 3800 block of E Highway 56 for a 36-year-old woman in labor. TVEMS assessed the patient and instructed the crew to prepare the cot. The patient was assisted to the cot and loaded into the ambulance for transport to a local hospital for further care.

Friday, Oct. 22

Squad 31 dispatched to the 600 block of Mountain Avenue for a 64-year-old woman feeling lightheaded due to chemo. Patient was loaded and transported to a local hospital.

Squad 62 responded to the 400 block of Lakritz Street for a 71-year-old man who needed a lift assist back into his wheelchair.

Squad 61 dispatched to the 400 block of Ellie Way for a 59-year-old woman with breathing problems. TVEMS assumed patient care. The crew assisted with loading the patient into the ambulance for transport.

Engine 62 dispatched the 2100 block of S Garfield Avenue for a 69-year-old man with chest pains. TVEMS assumed patient care, and the crew assisted with loading the patient into the ambulance for transport to a local hospital.

Squad 62 responded to the 400 block of Lakritz Street for a 71-year-old man who had fallen. The crew lifted the patient into his wheelchair, and TVEMS assessed the patient. The patient was not transported.

Engine 62 responded to the 5200 block of Foothills Drive for a lift assist.

Saturday, October 23

Squad 61 responded to the 100 block of SE 2nd Street for an 87-year-old woman who had fallen and could not get up. The patient was assessed by the crew and TVEMS. TVMS decided that the patient should be transported to the hospital.

Engine 62 dispatched to the 1000 block of Rubinette Lane for a 70-year-old man feeling ill. TVEMS evaluated the patient. The patient was packaged and loaded into the ambulance for transport to a local hospital.

Engine 62 dispatched to the 2600 block of Parrish Road for a 66-year-old woman who was sick. TVEMS assumed patient care. The patient was packaged and loaded for transport to a local hospital.

Squad 61 dispatched to the 300 block of E Iowa for a law enforcement medical assist. The crew began evaluating the 43-year-old woman and transferred care to TVEMS.

Squad 61 dispatched to the 800 block of Ranchhand Drive for a laceration. The crew assisted TVEMS with assessing the patient’s wound. The patient was loaded onto the cot and into the ambulance for transport to a local hospital.

Sunday, October 24

Squad 61 responded to the 800 block of Lowery Lane for a 43-year-old with abdominal pain. TVEMS assumed patient care. The patient was walked to the cot and loaded into the ambulance for transport.

Squad 61 dispatched to the 1300 block of 4th Street for a 77-year-old woman with breathing problems. TVEMS assumed patient care. The patient refused transport.

Squad 61 dispatched to the 2000 block of W County Road 10E for a 73-year-old woman with breathing problems. TVEMS assumed patient care while the crew obtained patient history. The patient was packaged and loaded into the ambulance for transport.

Engine 62 dispatched to the 4100 block of Meining Road for a 71-year-old man who had fainted. The patient was conscious and breathing. TVEMS assumed patient care, and the crew assisted with standing the patient up and walking him to a chair. Vitals were reassessed, and TVEMS cleared Engine 62 from the scene.

Engine 61 responded to the 600 block of Great Plains Avenue for a 64-year-old woman who was not feeling well. The crew began patient assessment and transferred care to TVEMS. The patient was loaded onto the cot and into the ambulance for transport to a local hospital.

Engine 61 spotted a vehicle fire in the area of Highway 287 and N. Berthoud Parkway as they were returning from a previous incident. The crew pulled a bumper line for extinguishment, and it was confirmed that all occupants were out of the vehicle. Overhaul was completed, and LCSO called for a tow truck. Once the vehicle was removed from the roadway all lanes of traffic were re-opened, and Engine 61 cleared the scene.

Engine 61 dispatched to the 2500 block of 1st Street for a medical on a 20-year-old woman. TVEMS made contact with the patient while the crew retrieved the cot. The patient got on the cot and was loaded into the ambulance for transport to a local hospital.

Engine 62 dispatched to the intersection of County Road 8 and County Road 21 for a two-vehicle accident. A motorcycle was down with the rider in the ditch. The other car had fled. The crew assumed patient care, assessed hazards, and performed traffic control. TVEMS arrived on scene and took over patient care. The crew assisted with packaging and loading the patient into the ambulance for transport. Absorbent was used clean up the fuel and oil that had leaked from the motorcycle. CSP arrived on scene with the driver from the other car to have them evaluated. The patient was also transported. Engine 62 remained on scene to provide traffic control until CSP concluded their investigation.

Engine 61 responded to the 200 block of 2nd Street for an 87-year-old man who had fallen. The patient was assessed, transferred to a cot, and loaded into the ambulance for transport to a local hospital.

Oct. 25-31

Monday, Oct. 25

Engine 61 responded to the 2000 block of Night Sky Drive for an 83-year-old man who had fallen and hit his head and arm. TVEMS arrived on scene and assumed patient care. The crew assisted with loading of the patient for transport.

Tuesday, Oct. 26

Engine 623 dispatched for mutual aid to the Sylvan Dale Ranch for a grass fire. The crew arrived on scene and extinguished the fire on the west flank. The fire was extinguished and mopped up, and all the assignments for E623 were complete.

Engine 61 responded to the 800 block of Canyonlands Street for a CO alarm going off. The homeowners were outside of the home. The crew entered the residence with full PPE and an air monitor. They found 2-20 ppm on both levels of the home; at which time they began to ventilate the home. They inspected the furnace, hot water heater, gas fireplace, outside HVAC vents and the gas range. The crew then again checked the residence and found 0 ppm of CO. The occupants of the home were allowed back inside and told to call back if their CO alarm went off again. It was determined that a long amount of time cooking without ventilation was the cause of the CO build up in the residence.

Wednesday, Oct. 27

Citizen assist to install a car seat at Station 1.

Engine 61 dispatched to Hays Market for a 55-year-old man having a seizure. TVEMS assumed patient care. The crew assisted with packaging the patient for transport to a local hospital.

Berthoud Fire dispatched to the 1000 block of 4th Street for a 76-year-old woman with breathing problems. TVEMS assumed patient care.

Engine 61 responded to the 900 block of 4th Street for a 71-year-old man who had fallen. The crew assisted the patient to the ambulance. The patient was transported to a local hospital.

A citizen rang the doorbell at station 2 and reported a car in the ditch on County Road 8 with airbag deployed. She stated the car was unoccupied and a deer was also laying in the ditch injured. The car and deer were found 250 yards to the east of station 2. Colorado State Patrol and CPW were informed of the animals’ situation. With no hazards in the road, Engine 62 remained on scene to wait the CSP due to the darkness and the location of both the car and deer.

Engine 61 dispatched to the 1000 block of Hollyberry Street for a 7-year-old boy having a seizure. The family decided to transport the patient to a local hospital. The crew assisted with packaging of the patient for transport.

Friday, October 29

Squad 61 dispatched to the 500 block of Canyonlands for a fainting. The crew began to evaluate the patient. TVEMS arrived on scene and assumed patient care. The patient was packaged and loaded into the ambulance for transport.

Squad 61 responded to the 2100 block of Jones Place for an 83-year-old woman who was sick. The crew assisted TVEMS with obtaining history and vitals. The patient decided to be transported to a local hospital at which time the crew assisted with packaging the patient for transport.

Squad 61 responded to the Berthoud Living Center for a medical assist.

Squad 61 responded to the 900 block of Franklin Avenue for a sick person. The crew began patient evaluation and transferred care to TVEMS.

Squad 61 dispatched to the 300 block of 42nd Street SW for a sick person. The crew assisted TVEMS with loading the patient into the ambulance for transport.

Saturday, October 30

Squad 61 dispatched to the 700 block of 8th Street for chest pain. The crew assisted TVMES with obtaining vitals and assisted with loading the patient into the ambulance for transport.

Engine 61 dispatched to the 2300 block of TPC Parkway for a dumpster fire. One small dumpster had smoke coming out. The crew opened the dumpster to find a smoldering box with paint and stain rags that were hot and smoldering. A water extinguisher was utilized to completely put out and cool the rags. The dumpster was then checked for any other smoldering or hots spots and none were located. The representing party and manager were informed of the cause of the fire.

Squad 61 dispatched to the 900 block of 5th Street for a law enforcement medical assist. The crew began patient assessment and assisted TVEMS with loading the patient into the ambulance for transport to a local hospital.

Engine 62 dispatched to the 3200 block of W County Road 8 for an illegal burn. Three or four small piles of leaves were burning in the driveway unattended. The homeowner was located and notified that he was not allowed to be burning leaves. The homeowner was cooperative, and a garden hose was used to put the fire out.

Engine 61 dispatched to the 11000 block of Yellowstone Road for an illegal burn. There was a 15-foot diameter pile of debris on fire in a field being attended to. The homeowner stated that the combine had caught a pile of tumbleweeds on fire that he wished to keep burning. The crew informed him that he could not continue to burn due to it being nighttime and not having a burn permit. The crew extinguished the fire while the homeowner used the bucket on his tractor to help break up and distribute the pile to ensure complete extinguishment.

Sunday, October 31

Squad 61 responded to the 200 block of Hubbell Street for a 79-year-old woman who was sick. TVEMS assumed patient care. Once the patient was stable, Squad 61 was cleared from the scene.

Squad 61 dispatched to the 1500 block of Mount Meeker Avenue for an overdose. The crew began patient assessment and transferred care to TVEMS. The patient was transported to a local hospital via personal vehicle.

Squad 61 responded to the 300 block of Turner Avenue for a law enforcement request for medical. TVEMS assumed patient care. The crew assisted with loading the patient onto the cot for transport.

Citizen assist at Station 1 for a car seat installation.

Squad 62 responded to the 5100 block of Sherman Drive for a patient who had fallen. The crew began evaluating the patient and transferred care to TVEMS. The patient refused transport.
