The competitors from Premier Gymnastics of Loveland have had a very busy week, one filled with travel.

The last Friday of January found the group in San Antonio, Texas for the Alamo Classic.

Last Friday, Saturday and Sunday, they were in Colorado Springs for the Pikes Peak Cup.

Here are the results of those competitions as submitted by Julee Graham.

Alamo Classic

San Antonio, Texas

Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies in Loveland had their second Optional Team meet of the season this on January 28, 2012. The meet was the Alamo Classic, held in San Antonio, Texas.

Bailie Holst, Level 10 gymnast, Placed 4^th on both Bars and Floor and 5^th on Vault in the Senior A Division.

In Level 8 Senior C Division, Anisha Alvarado was Bars Champion with a score of 9.45 and she placed 3^rd in the All-Around competition. Rachel Rost was 2^nd on Bars and placed 4^th in the All-Around.

In Level 7, results are as follows:

In Junior B Division, Jaxin Melby placed 3^rd on Bars and 5^th on Vault, Beam and Floor. Melby placed 4^th in the All-Around.

In Senior A Division, Morgan Adams placed 3^rd on Bars and 4^th on Vault.  Adams placed 4^th in the All-Around.

In Senior C Division, Katey Eggerling placed 5^th on Bars. Ryley Fields placed 2^nd on Beam, Tied for 2^nd on Bars and placed 4^th on Floor. Fields placed 2^nd in the All-Around.  Josie Spitz tied for 2^nd on Bars and placed 4^th on Vault. Spitz placed 3^rd in the All-Around. Alyssa Strong was Bars Champion with a score of 8.85 and placed 5^th on Floor.

In Senior D Division, Kelsey Knuth placed 3^rd on Bars, 4^th on Floor and 5^th on Vault. Knuth placed 4^th in the All-Around.

2012 Pikes Peak Cup

Colorado Springs, Colorado

Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies, in Loveland, weathered the storm this past weekend and headed down to Colorado Springs, Broadmoor, to compete in the 2012 Pikes Peak Cup. Both the Optional and Compulsory Teams participated.

Optional Team results:

Level 10 gymnast, Bailie Holst, placed 2^nd in the All-Around in the Junior B Division. Holst placed 1^st on Beam with a Score of 9.400, 2^nd on Floor, 3^rd on Bars and 5^th on Vault.

In Level 8 Junior B Division, Anisha Alvarado placed 5^th in the All-Around and 4^th on Bars. Rachel Rost placed 5^th on Beam.

The Level 7 Team placed 4^th with a Score of 107.800.

Top 5 All-Around Finishers:

In the Junior B Division, Morgan Adams placed 5^th and in the Senior Division, Ryley Fields placed 5^th.

Top 5 Individual Event Finishers:

In the Child Division, Jaxin Melby Placed 1^st on Vault with a Score of 9.300 and 4^th on Bars. In the Junior A Division, Sidney Strizki Placed 4^th on Bars and Tatum Graham Placed 2^nd on Vault. In the Junior B Division, Adams Placed 2^nd on Vault and 3^rd on Beam. In the Senior Division, Fields Tied for 4^th on Floor and Placed 5^th on Bars. Josie Spitz Placed 3^rd on Vault and Tied for 4^th on Floor.

Compulsory Team results:

The Level 6 Team placed 1^st with a Score of 106.100.

Top 5 All-Around Finishers:

In the Child Division, Nikki Sims placed 1^st with a Score of 35.275. In the Junior Division, Jayde Minnis placed 1^st with a Score of 36.125. In the Senior Division, Jessie Madere Placed 2^nd.

Top 5 Individual Event Finishers:

In the Child Division, Sims placed 1^st on Vault with a Score of 9.050 and 1^st on Beam with a Score of 9.050. Sims also placed 3^rd on Floor. Reagan Ball placed 3^rd on Bars and 5^th on Floor. In the Junior Division, Minnis placed 1^st on Beam with a Score of 9.250 and 1^st on Floor with a Score of 9.425. Minnis also placed 2^nd on Bars and 3^rd on Vault. In the Senior Division, Madere placed 1^st on Vault with a Score of 9.300, 2^nd on Beam and Floor and 4^th on Bars.

Level  5 Team:

Abby Hazlett Placed 5^th in the All-Around in the Child A Division.

Top 5 Individual Event Finishers:

In the Child B Division, Emily Trojahn placed 2^nd on Beam. In the Senior Division, Morgan Kenner Placed 4^th on Vault.

The Level 4 Team Placed 1^st with a Score of 112.000.

Top 5 All-Around Finishers:

In the Child A Division, Mackenzie Nedom placed 1^st with a Score of 36.975. In the Child B Division, Madison Blair placed 1^st with a Score of 39.075 and Alyson Buckner placed 3^rd.

Top 5 Individual Event Finishers:

In the Child A Division, Nedom Placed 1^st on Beam with a Score of 8.875 and Floor with a Score of 9.750. Nedom also placed 2^nd on Vault and Bars. Abby Budd Placed 5^th on Vault. In the Child B Division, Blair Placed 1^st on Vault (Score 9.700), Bars (Score 9.800), Beam (Score 9.675) and Floor (Score 9.900). Buckner Placed 2^nd on Beam, 3^rd on Floor, 4^th on Vault and 5^th on Bars. Ali O’’Donnell Placed 4^th on Floor.
