Swim Team makes a big splash in the 2014 Swim-A-Thon fundraiser for HNS By Krista Markell Photo by Jill Strait On a beautiful Wednesday morning in June, the Berthoud Recreation Sharks Swim Team held their 5th Annual Swim-A-Thon fundraiser. Sixty-seven of the swim team members swam lengths continuously to raise money for the event. Older swimmers swam for 30 minutes and younger swimmers for 20 minutes. The meet was held on May 30 - June 1, and it was hosted by Adrenaline Gymnastics in Centennial, Colorado. The Xcel Team competed at the Silver, Gold and Platinum Levels. Black Lab went missing from Berthoud Estates on 5/25 between 10:00am and 4:30pm. He is wearing identification, but nobody has called. Signs have also been placed around the area.He is extremely skinny, and I am worried that someone has found him and decided that his owners don't deserve to have him because of his current condition.
