Citing Colorado Supreme Court Decision, Weld DA Dismisses Case against James Broderick GREELEY, Colo. – Weld County District Attorney Ken Buck filed a motion today to dismiss all of the pending criminal charges against Fort Collins Police Lt. Panhandling in Larimer County, new rules
Panhandling Ordinance Enforcement Larimer County's new panhandling ordinance went into effect this week but Sheriff Justin Smith began implementing a three-step plan last month to phase in the enforcement of the ordinance. Larimer County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested Shane Wagner, DOB: 03/26/1985 of Bellfourche, South Dakota and Jeremy Christopherson, DOB: 01/23/1987, of Spearfish, South Dakota for possession of 28.75 ounces of marijuana. The two men were arrested after deputies stopped them for speeding more than 110 miles per hour on I-25 north of Fort Collins at approximately 1:22 this morning. Red Feather Fire Final Update
Larimer County Sheriff PRESS RELEASE A fast moving fire claimed two summer cabins in Red Feather Lakes early this morning and resulted in 367 evacuation notices being issued for Fox Acres and homes along portions of County Road 67J. Winds gusting up to 50 to 60 miles-per-hour created 12 spot fires. A large propane tank near one of the cabins exploded in the fire and went through a building across the street.
