Loveland Public Library closes to observe memorial for

  The Loveland Public Library will close from 9 a.m. to noon Friday, Sept. 27, to allow employees to attend a Celebration of Life for their friend and colleague Patty Goodwine, a victim of Big Thompson Canyon flooding. Goodwine, the Executive Administrative Assistant at the library for more than 34 years, was swept away by floodwaters that took her Cedar Cove home in Big Thompson Canyon between Loveland and Drake in the early hours of Sept. 13.
