Udall and Polis representatives in Berthoud

    Representatives from U.S. Sen. Mark Udall’s office and Rep. Jared Polis’ office will be available to constituents and organizations in Berthoud on Thursday. Congressional staff from the two Democrats’ offices will be on hand from 3:30-5 p.m. at the board room of Northern Water Conservancy District headquarters, 220 Water Ave. They will answer questions about grants for special districts, local governments and nonprofits.

Loveland gymnast takes second place in regional competition

    Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies gymnast Bailie Holst, placed all four events at the Level 10 Region 3 regional competition in Wichita, Kansas this past weekend. Holst scored an impressive 38.050 to earn her second place in the All-Around Competition in the Senior B Division. Holst was also crowned Beam Champion with a score of 9.600. Firefighters Identify Faulty Rooftop HVAC Unit   At 08:48 a.m. (April 3, 2013) the Greeley Fire Department was called to 3035 23rd Ave, the Golden Corral restaurant, in Greeley, on the report of a possible structure fire. Upon their arrival, responding fire crews reported that the restaurant had been evacuated. Restaurant employees reported smelling and seeing smoke inside the business.
