Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies at the 2013 Northern Lights Classic By Julee Graham Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies, had one of their own qualify for the prestigious “Event Finals” at the 2013 Northern Lights Classic in Minneapolis this past weekend, March 1- 3, 2013.       Berthoud Fire Protection District Incident activity for 2013 January Tuesday, January 1 BFPD responded to a carbon monoxide (CO) alarm activation on Sixth Street. The fire crew found elevated levels of carbon monoxide in the residence and found the leak coming from the heater vent. The resident was advised to evacuate the apartment until the leak was repaired. By Julee Graham Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies went to the University of Denver this past weekend to compete in the “2013 Denver Winterfest Classic.” Colorado Gymnastics Institute of Aurora was the host of the event that took place February 22-24, 2013. Premier’s Level 7 Team and Level 8 Team each took 3rd Place in the Team competition. Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies 2013 Chicago Style By Julee Graham Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies traveled to Chicago to compete the “2013 Chicago Style” Gymnastics Meet on the famous, Navy Pier. The meet was hosted by Illinois Gymnastics Institute. It is the Largest Gymnastics meet in Northern America. Over four thousand gymnasts compete throughout the weekend.
