  Lloyd Mobley, a Berthoud resident for 16 years is perhaps better known as the “Great Lloydini” as he and his wife Linda performed their magic show in Berthoud and the surrounding area for many years. He has been playing golf most of his life but only taken it seriously since last summer. He spends most of his practice time at the Olde Course in Loveland, putting, chipping, hitting out of sand traps and driving on the range.   Teen in critical condition after crash south of Berthoud Reporter-Herald News Staff A teen is in critical condition following a serious crash south of Berthoud on Wednesday evening. Berthoud Fire Protection District Incident activity for July 2013 Monday, July 1 BFPD responded to a reported grass fire on North County Road 15C. The fire crew found a pile of burning mattresses and the responsible party extinguishing the fire. The fire crew explained the burn ban that is in affect and that burning mattresses is illegal. Missing man found

Kyle Mark, the 29-year-old developmentally delayed man, who went missing Wednesday night has been found.  Mr. Mark was found last night about 9:00 p.m. unharmed and is now back with his caregiver.  The Larimer County Sheriff's Office extends its thanks to the public for helping to look for the man.

Berthoud Memories on 95th Birthday Lucille Buehler Dorman will celebrate her 95th birthday on Saturday, June 15, 2013. Lucille, a second generation Berthoud native, was born 95 years ago on the family farm east of Berthoud. Her parents were Walter and Dora (Davis) Buehler. She was the oldest of four daughters. Lucille attended a one-room school house through 8th grade then transferred to Berthoud High School. She graduated in 1936 and was the first in her family to graduate from high school. ...
