  Berthoud Fire Protection District Incident activity for November 2012   Monday, November 5 BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at Mile marker 252. A single vehicle had hit the guardrail. There were no injuries reported. BFPD responded to a reported dumpster fire near a structure on Fifth Street.       Larimer County Sheriff PRESS RELEASE A fast moving fire claimed two summer cabins in Red Feather Lakes early this morning and resulted in 367 evacuation notices being issued for Fox Acres and homes along portions of County Road 67J.  Winds gusting up to 50 to 60 miles-per-hour created 12 spot fires.  A large propane tank near one of the cabins exploded in the fire and went through a building across the street.  The building, owned by the Red Feather Lakes Property ...     2012 Xtreme Altitude Fall Classic By Julee Graham Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies had their final meet of the compulsory season before the Colorado State Championships. Xtreme Altitude Gymnastics hosted the “2012 Xtreme Altitude Fall Classic” on November 17 and 18. First Light   The Little Thompson Observatory (LTO) in Berthoud, is proud to announce that it acquired First Light through its historic 24” (610 mm) Telescope on Friday, November 16. The first objects viewed were the Pleiades Star Cluster and the Andromeda Galaxy. A team of dedicated volunteers has been working diligently over the past five years to make this event possible.
