CDOT Looking for a Few Good Comments

The department opened a 60-day public comment window earlier this month and will be accepting comments through Dec. 30. There are currently two options being considered as the best transportation solutions and the department would like to narrow that to one. All Aboard the Model Railroad Club

Meeting at rotating locations to accommodate its large and diverse membership, the club has over 180 members who share their enthusiasm for the world of trains. Mrs. Ashlyn Bishop has been selected to represent Berthoud in the 2009 Mrs. Colorado state competition to be held May 16 at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House in Denver. Bishop received her official Mrs. Berthoud sash by mail. Rare Alpaca Twins Continue to Thrive
By Shari Phiel Berthoud Recorder They may not be household names, but Mijo and Mija are definitely celebrities, well at least in the world of alpaca breeders, that is. The cute, fuzzy alpaca babies are twins, a rarity in alpaca births where less than one in 3,000 births results in twins. Born on Sept. 6, 2008, the two-month-old twins are gaining weight and growing quickly.
