The Larimer County Democrats have announced their 2012 Precinct Caucus sites. Democratic Caucuses will be held on March 6, 2012. Registration will begin at 6:30 pm; Caucus meetings will begin promptly at 7:00 pm. The Berthoud Community Library will be hosting its second "Paws to Read" this Monday February 27 from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm. This program is sponsored by Paws for Responsibility, a Colorado non-profit organization. Screened, trained and registered therapy dogs and their volunteer handlers offer opportunities for children grades 1-5 to improve reading skills. Shooting death in Loveland

          Larimer County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to the 1300-block of Cherry Avenue in Loveland, in unincorporated Larimer County, at 9:44 p.m. last night after a female called 911 to report a shooting.  Upon arrival, deputies discovered a 51-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his upper torso.
