SH 14 over Cameron Pass remains closed following an avalanche that occurred last night around 8 p.m. Currently, it is snowing heavily and visibility is poor. Due to the large amount of snow and the potential for additional snow slides, crews cannot clean up the current slide or assess avalanche risk in the area. Larimer County, Colorado—Beginning at 8 a.m., Monday, December 20, vehicles bringing trash to the Larimer County Landfill will be routed over one of two new incoming scales at the previous gatehouse sites. Kindergarten teacher Millie McCloy was taken by surprise Thursday morning when she was recognized with the Champions Excellence In Education Award. Champions’ area manager, Stephanie Roberts, used the occasion of the Berthoud Elementary teachers’ breakfast to make the presentation.
