Berthoud Fire Protection District Incident activity for December Thursday, December 1 BFPD responded with TVEMS to a reported motor vehicle accident on 287 near County Road 2E.   This was a multiple car accident and Mountain View Fire and Longmont Fire also responded.  Berthoud crew assisted with transporting one patient. Welcome Avery Lynn Gettman

  Ashley and Zachery Gettman of Berthoud announce the birth of Avery Lynn Gettman, Avery was born at the Medical Center of the Rockies on November 22, 2011. She weighed 6 lbs. 12 ounces and was 20 inches long. The Grandparents are John and Christy Gettman of Berthoud and Larry and Sara Nuckols, also of Berthoud.

for Colorado Springs man in tax-evasion case   DENVER — Colorado Attorney General John Suthers announced today that a Denver jury has convicted Colorado Springs resident Douglas Bruce (DOB: 8/26/1949) of three felonies and one misdemeanor related to his failure to pay taxes on income he earned during the 2005, 2006 and 2007 tax years.
