Incident Report February 1 - 6 Tuesday, Feb. 1 Engine 62 dispatched to the 2000 block of S. Cty Road 21 for a 76-year-old woman who fell a couple of days ago and was now unable to get up and move around. The patient was assessed and packaged for transport. Squad 61 responded to the Love’s Travel Stop for a 53-year-old man with abdominal pain. Patient care was transferred to TVEMS at which time the patient was walked to the ambulance. January 1 - January 9 Saturday, January 1 Squad 61 responded to the 700 block of Mountain Avenue for a lift assist. Squad 61 dispatched to the 1900 block of Chaparro Circle for a medical. The crew began patient assessment. The patient was loaded into the ambulance for transport by TVEMS. Squad 61 dispatched to the 400 block of Country Road for a 70-year-old man who had fainted. Marshall fire evacuation alerts reached as few as 1 in 5 who were meant to receive them

      As few as 1 in 5 people who were sent warnings to flee the fast-moving Marshall fire confirmed they received them, newly released figures show.  In all, fewer than 5,000 of the 24,289 phone calls, texts and emails that went out Dec. 30 were marked as having been received during the emergency, according to new data from the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office. August 31, 1929 - October 15, 2021 Compdon “Comp” A. Wilson 92, of Berthoud, Colorado passed away on October 13, 2021 in Loveland.  He was born on August 31, 1929 in Boulder, to Charles W. and Iva Lorene (Martindale) Wilson. On October 12th 1947 he married Bettie J. Schleiger in Campion. They lived in the Berthoud area their entire lives, living at the old Berthoud Homestead south of Berthoud since the early 1950’s.
