Upon arrival, the house was evacuated and there was an odor of propane evident inside the residence. A leak was found in the line between the propane tank and the house. Larimer County Adopts Fire Restrictions on Open Fires
Larimer County, Colorado – The Board of Larimer County Commissioners adopted fire restrictions on Open Fires and Fireworks beginning immediately and continuing through November 1, 2010. These restrictions are based on a recommendation from Larimer County Sheriff Jim Alderden in light of dry conditions and prohibit the use of: Open fires and fireworks in the unincorporated areas of Larimer County. FEMA is not presently involved in the fire management, rather it is the Thomas Great Basin Type 1 Incident Management Team organized under the National Wildfire Coordination Group(NWCG)that is now overseeing fire suppression efforts on the Reservoir Road Fire. Fire caused by resident burning leaves and twigs Chief Merlin Green of the Loveland Fire Department began Monday afternoon's press conference by saying the fire has covered 900 acres and is 20 percent contained.
