Sunday, August 1 A barking dog at 12:25 a.m. resulted in a written warning to its Sixth Street owner. Police stopped a driver at 1:44 a.m. shortly after he left the ramp from First Street to Highway 287. The driver, a 39-year-old Loveland resident, was cited for DUI and failure to drive in a single lane. The case of the vehicle running in to the building at 919 Mountain Avenue is under investigation. Scales Installation Project to Begin at Landfill
Larimer County, Colorado—Beginning January 1, 2011, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations require us to report the weight of trash being dumped at the Larimer County Landfill. Incoming vehicles will be required to weigh in as they enter and weigh out as they exit. This requires us to install scales, and will bring us into compliance with EPA regulations.
