Ferguson High School Graduation Change
Due to the the possibility of inclement weather, the May 20 Ferguson High School graduation has been moved from the Foote Lagoon to the Rialto Theater at 228 East 4th Street. The starting time remains the same: 1:00 p.m.
Teacher Appreciation night at BOE meeting
It is teacher appreciation week in the Thompson School District and it was Teacher Appreciation night at the Thompson Board of Education meeting on Wednesday night. This recognition for teachers comes from students and plays to a packed house at the district headquarters. Lauren Sawinska Wins BBB/Rotary Ethics Scholarship
Lauren Sawinska, a senior at Berthoud High School, is the 2011 recipient of the BBB/Rotary $5,000 Business Ethics Scholarship presented by the Better Business Bureau and Rotary Districts 5440, 5450 and 5470 at the April 21 BBB Torch Awards for Business Ethics. The scholarship is funded by the BBB Foundation. 2011 Ivy Stockwell Jog-A-Thon fund-raiser
A Jogger-Riffic Time By Thomas N. Ivy Stockwell Elementary School will be holding its annual fund-raiser and this year it will be the schools first jog-a-thon, to take place April 18-20. This event will raise funds for the school including activities such as reading programs, subscriptions for learning through technology, and summer science camps. The Wizard comes to Berthoud
Berthoud High School Play Premiers Thursday Night By Thomas N. The Berthoud High School drama department will premiere a production of The Wonderful Wizard of OZ on Thursday April 14. The play is an adaptation the book by L. Frank Baum and looks to be a good time with many experienced actors.
