Ferguson High School Graduation Change

Due to the the possibility of inclement weather, the May 20 Ferguson High School graduation has been moved from the Foote Lagoon to the Rialto Theater at 228 East 4th Street. The starting time remains the same: 1:00 p.m.

Lauren Sawinska Wins BBB/Rotary Ethics Scholarship

  Lauren Sawinska, a senior at Berthoud High School, is the 2011 recipient of the BBB/Rotary $5,000 Business Ethics Scholarship presented by the Better Business Bureau and Rotary Districts 5440, 5450 and 5470 at the April 21 BBB Torch Awards for Business Ethics. The scholarship is funded by the BBB Foundation. 2011 Ivy Stockwell Jog-A-Thon fund-raiser

A Jogger-Riffic Time By Thomas N. Ivy Stockwell Elementary School will be holding its annual fund-raiser and this year it will be the schools first jog-a-thon, to take place April 18-20. This event will raise funds for the school including activities such as reading programs, subscriptions for learning through technology, and summer science camps. The play is an adaptation the book by L. Frank Baum and looks to be a good time with many experienced actors.
