Citizens First introduces the candidates
Dorian Ryan opened the Citizens First meeting on Saturday announcing a bad news-good news message; she said that that only three candidates had filed for the three vacancies on the town board. The good news was that all were at the meeting. She introduced incumbent Dick Shepard who explained why he decided to seek another term on the board. Berthoud Economic Resource Team Meeting
The Berthoud Economic Resource Team (BERT) met at the Berthoud Town Hall on Monday evening. The First item of business was a report by Deputy Town Clerk Linda Higuera on the progress in developing the new web site for the town and economic development. The goal is to have a seamless joining of the two parts of the web site so that it will make the best presentation to the outside world. Main Street Station scheduled to open Friday, March 12
By Judy Lehn The folks at Main Street Station, formerly J.B. Clymer’s, are still doing fix-up, clean-up and repairs on their new digs at the former Abeyta’s, 335 Mountain Avenue. Bob Nixon, co-owner along with his wife, Shari and his mother-in-law, Sharon Dowling, are creating a whole new restaurant. The next item of business is new carpeting, with furniture soon to follow. They hope to open on Friday, March 12, with a grand opening scheduled later.
