The Berthoud High Class of 2008 honored retiring Principal Leonard Sherman by giving him stones on which they had painted a personal message. The tradition of "palming" something to Sherman as the graduation seniors shook his hand on the stage had gone on for many years and on this final year the class members created hand painted stones of remembrance.
