Coyote Activity Increases in the Spring

News from the Colorado Division of Wildlife The Colorado Division of Wildlife is asking people to take precautions when living or recreating in coyote country. From coyote attacks on pets to aggressive coyotes approaching people, the Division is receiving increasing calls about coyote activity. Larimer County, Colorado – On Saturday April 3, 2010 Larimer County began a process to install the first solar photovoltaic panels on one of its facilities. The first panels were fastened into place on Friday, April 15.  The 26.82 kW system will soon be up and running at the Larimer County Courthouse Offices (LCCO) Building at 200 W. Forest Service Reopens Climbing Areas in Boulder Canyon

Boulder, Colo. (April 2, 2010) – The Forest Service has reopened some climbing areas in Boulder Canyon that were closed to protect golden eagles during their nesting season. Security Risk and the Blob Rock/Bitty Buttress areas are now open to climbing and other activities. These areas are located along State Highway 119, approximately 1.5 miles east of Boulder Falls.
