Berthoud Dance Theatre Presents 'Twas The Night Before Christmas Everyone had a great time. Grandma Joyce Jones opened the show reading "Twas The Night Before Christmas" and the dancers, young and old took over from there. From Ballet to Hip Hop, there was something for everyone. Win half a beef
Win half a beef The Berthoud Wrestling Club is raffling off half a beef. All proceeds will go to the club to use for the kids. The tickets are $2 each or 6 for $10. The winner will have to pay for the butchering of the calf, approximately $250. The drawing will take place on January 9, 2010 and tickets will be on sale until then. Hoffman to be new Larimer Planning Division Director
Larimer County, Colorado - Linda C. Hoffmann will take the lead as Larimer County’s new Planning Division Director January 1, 2010. Hoffmann has served as the County’s Rural Land Use Center (RLUC) Director since June 2008. Under a re-organization of the Planning Division, the Rural Land Use Center will remain in Hoffmann’s prevue as Division Director. Free Child Care for Jingle Mingle
Free child care provided to Jingle Mingle participants. Raising Daisies Day Care Center, 710 Bunyan Avenue will provide free child care for Jingle Mingle diners from 5 p.m. to 8 p. m. and even a little bit later if necessary. The December 19 progressive dinner is being sponsored by the Berthoud Economic Resource Team (BERT) with the assistance of the Berthoud Chamber of Commerce and Citizens First. Bridge-Between Show Choir presents Christmas Program
The Berthoud High School Bridge-Between Choir has a delightful Christmas program based on a story about one of Santa’s elves. The choir has been spreading cheer by entertaining residents of assisted living facilities in the surrounding communities. Flooding closes Larimer Justice Center
Flooding from leaking pipes closed the Larimer County Justice Center, 201 LaPorte Ave., Fort Collins, on Wednesday. According to Michael Kirk, Larimer County facilities director, a pipe froze and broke a fitting, causing the system to activate and release water on the first floor Wednesday morning. A service vendor is onsite and cleanup is under way. Officials are targeting a Thursday reopening of the building.
