Berthoud Dance Theatre Presents 'Twas The Night Before Christmas Everyone had a great time. Win half a beef The Berthoud Wrestling Club is raffling off half a beef. All proceeds will go to the club to use for the kids. The tickets are $2 each or 6 for $10. The winner will have to pay for the butchering of the calf, approximately $250. The drawing will take place on January 9, 2010 and tickets will be on sale until then. The Berthoud High School Bridge-Between Choir has a delightful Christmas program based on a story about one of Santa’s elves. The choir has been spreading cheer by entertaining residents of assisted living facilities in the surrounding communities. There is plenty to see when driving around town at night this time of year.
Flooding from leaking pipes closed the Larimer County Justice Center, 201 LaPorte Ave., Fort Collins, on Wednesday. According to Michael Kirk, Larimer County facilities director, a pipe froze and broke a fitting, causing the system to activate and release water on the first floor Wednesday morning. A service vendor is onsite and cleanup is under way. Officials are targeting a Thursday reopening of the building.
