The disappointing record did not stop the team from celebrating their achievements and honoring the graduating seniors on Wednesday evening. Two seniors were singled out for special recognition. Disappointing season ends with 40-21 loss to Skyline By Dan Karpiel Sports Writer The frustrating 2010 season for the Berthoud High football team ended in disappointing fashion Friday night at Max Marr Field. The Spartans dropped their final game of the season 40-21 to the Skyline Falcons. The Spartans finished with the season with a 3-7 record and were 0-5 in 3A Northern conference play. Berthoud football drops to Mountain View 38-7 By Dan Karpiel Sports Writer Friday night at Ray Patterson Field in Loveland the Berthoud Spartan football team lost their fourth consecutive game by 38-7 score to the Mountain View Mountain Lions. The loss drops Berthoud’s record to 3-6 on the season and 0-4 in the conference. Mountain View entered the week as the number five ranked team statewide in class 3A.
