Clyde Weldon McCrary, 83, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo. Clyde was born Friday, April 2, 1926 in Clarendon, Texas to Jesse and DoraLee (Junior) McCrary. He served in the United States Navy during WWII and was a carpenter before retiring. Marion Anderson passed away peacefully on Oct. 28, 2009 at Hospice Care Center of Boulder/Broomfield County in Louisville after a short illness. She was born May 24, 1936 to John and Rosie Brehmer in Bancroft, Neb., the fifth child born to the family, which grew by three more children over the next several years. Gilbert A. Perry passed away peacefully at his Berthoud home Oct. 12, 2009. He was born in Hyannis, Mass., on July 19, 1927. Early schooling was in Harwich, Mass. He graduated from Northeastern University in Boston and served in the Coast Guard. Perry married his high school sweetheart, Naomi Ruth Allen in 1948 and died exactly 68 years later on the anniversary of the day they met. They moved to Colorado in 1953.
