Obituary: Theodore “Ted” Wacker
Theodore “Ted” Wacker, 86, of Loveland, Colo., passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2010. Ted was born in Berthoud, Colo., on July 23, 1923, to John and Anna Margaret (Schaefer) Wacker. He was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Loveland. Ted attended schools in the Berthoud area and farmed with his family until enlisting in the Army. Robert John Schleiger, 75, of Loveland died April 3, 2010, at home with his family at his bedside. He fought a courageous battle against cancer. Bob was born to John and Christina Schleiger on June 13, 1934 east of Berthoud, CO. He attended Whipple School east of Berthoud through seventh grade and then graduated from Berthoud High School in 1952. Leslie Clyde Nielsen, 55 of Berthoud, died at his residence on March 20, 2010. Leslie was born June 16, 1955 in Ft. Collins, Colorado to Irma (Niemoller) Nielsen and Donald Nielsen.
