CDOT Snow update for Larimer County
Posted By Editor On December 30, 2010 @ 11:21 am In Area News | Comments Disabled
CDOT maintenance crews in Larimer County including Loveland, Fort Collins, Berthoud, Wellington, Poudre Canyon and Cameron Pass are on full snow shift. Currently, there are 25 plows working I-25, US 287 and State Highway (SH) 14. Secondary routes include SH 1, US 34, SH 56, SH 60, SH 392 and SH 402. The highways in this area are wet with some slushy and icy spots. Crews are using liquid and solid de-icers and as temperatures drop will use only solid de-icers.
CDOT would like to remind motorists to slow down and give the plows room to do their job. Do not pass plows on the right. Our plow drivers are seeing many motorists driving too fast for conditions. “Ice and snow, Take It Slow.”
